Spring Newsletter

Wow!!! The smell of spring is in the air. Freshly cut grass, meat on the grill, and hot dogs being grilled to perfection just waiting to be shoved down the hatch at the turn. Our team here at THE Tres hundos golf are stoked about the coming season and ready to shank some $1 balls into the woods…or pond….. Or the hole. Doesn't matter, a bad day on the course is better than a good day in the office.

Something you should know about our team before we swing into the golf season is that we are coming off a lengthy and rigorous hockey season. The boys from THE Swamp Donkeys went 20-3 and finished with a championship win against the Detroit Irish Clowns. Despite the game being cut short by 8 minutes, due to an excessive lack of self discipline by 40 year old men, we prevailed and sent those cranky old benders back to their screaming wives and babies…. I mean their wives and screaming babies.

Nonetheless, we are excited about the start of another golf season and looking forward to time with the boys. We do have some new clubs that will be making an appearance. Chief concessions officer and known for the furthest negative yard short, Drew Yaekle will be sporting a new chipper. We are eagerly looking forward to seeing how he utilizes this club. Also in the same sand bunker, President of verbal Denigration, Ben Yaekle will also be carrying a new chipper in his bag. Thanks to the notorious guest golfer Tom Turnbull, he has used this club flawlessly and has really excited us about the club.

In addition to Drew and Ben, Director of player safety, Nate Yaekle will be swinging a new Wilson driver this year. This was gifted to him as well from guest golfer and hard hitting Seth yaekle. Seth garbage picked it from the neighbor. However, it is in prestigious condition and will compete off the tee box with the famous Biggie Special.

Last but not least, League commissioner, Erik Dennison will potentially have his very own caddy this year as his daughter is becoming of the age to steal his hotdog and drink his Arnold Palmer. Not sure how this will affect his play this year, but we are all eager to find out.

As we wait in anticipation for the season to start, we are looking forward to having some

old and new guests on the tours this year. Potential new draft pick Matthew Turnbull may make his debut so keep an eye out for him.

If you have read this thus far, which I am surprised that you have, stay tuned and regularly check the website for important news and dates concerning tours being held. We look

forward to the Yaekle Lawn Care open, the Aquaspa Invitational, and the 4th of july Invitational. We hope all had a good winter and hope to see you on the course. Cheers!!
